PREPARATION
Shut o the power at the circuit breaker and remove existing
xture, including the mounting hardware.
2. Carefully unpack your new xture and lay out
all the parts on a clear area. Be careful not to lose any
small parts necessary for installation.
MOUNTING THE FIXTURE (Fig. 1)
3. Secure the mounting plate (E1) to the junction box
(F1) using junction box screws (A1). The side of
the mounting plate marked “GND” must face out.
4. Adjust the screw (J1) length to t the ball nut (I1).
CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig. 2)
5. At this point, connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig. 2.
Make sure that all wire connectors (B1) are secured. If your
outlet box has a ground wire (green or bare copper),
connect the xture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise,
connect the xture’s ground wire directly to the mounting
plate (E1) using the green screw provided. After wires are
connected, tuck them carefully inside the junction box.
6. Slide the glass (H1) into the xture bottom from back.
7. Put the xture (K1) onto the mounting plate (E1) and secure
with ball nuts (I1).
8. Slide the glass (G1) into the channels on the xture front.
Insert the glass (M1) into the xture frame.
9. Place the top cover (L1) onto the plastic sheet (N1)
and the xture. Secure it with gaskets (D1) and screws (C1).
COMPLETING THIS INSTALLATION (Fig. 3)
10. To prevent moisture from entering the outlet box and
causing causing a short, use clear caulking (i.e. indoor/outdoor
silicone sealant) to outline the outside of xture back plate
where it meets the wall. Leave a space at the bottom to allow
moisture to escape (Fig.3).
