PREPARATION
- Shut o the power at the circuit breaker and remove existing xture, including the mounting hardware.
- Carefully unpack your new xture and lay out all the parts on a clear area. Be careful not to lose any small parts necessary for installation.
MOUNTING THE FIXTURE (FIG. 1)
1. Drill holes in the ceiling aligned with the key-hole location in the mounting plate (E1). Insert the plastic anchors (G1).
2. Secure the mounting plate (E1) to the junction box using the junction box screws (J1).
3. The side of the mounting plate marked “GND” must face out.
4. Screw the wood screws (P1) into the plastic anchors (G1). Tighten the mounting plate (E1).
5. Place the glass into the xture (M1). Secure the plate (D1) onto the xture (M1) using screws (C1).
Hold the glass on right location well.
6. Hang the hook of safety cable (H1) onto the mounting plate (E1). This will allow for xture to be supported while wire connection are made.
CONNECTING THE WIRES (FIG. 2)
7. Connect the xture wires to supply wires as shown in Fig.2, making sure
that all wire connectors (B1) are secured. If your outlet box has a green
or bare copper ground wire, connect the xtures ground wire to it.
Otherwise, connect the xture’s ground wire directly to the mounting
plate (E1) using the green screw provided. After wires are connected,
tuck them carefully inside the junction box.
8. Put the xture (M1) onto the mounting plate (E1) and
secure them using the mounting screws (A1).
