GETTING STARTED
1. Remove the battery compartment cover.
Clock Back-up Battery Installation
2. Install 2 “AAA” (UM-4) batteries (not included) in the battery compartment following
the polarity markings shown on it.
3. Replace the battery compartment cover.
Note: The unit will still operate without the batteries installed, but the time, alarm
and radio preset settings will be lost and have to be reset in the event of a power
interruption or failure.
Warnings:
- Batteries shall not be exposed to excessive
heat such as direct sunlight, fire or the
like.
- Be sure that the batteries are installed correctly. Wrong polarity may damage the
unit.
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
