6. Throttle Neutral setting –
6.1 Switch on the transmitter.
6.2 set the throttle trim to the middle “0” setting or set the throttle to the rest position of
transmitter with programmable throttle input.
6.3 Switch on the power of the ESC
6.4 The ESC will sound a 3 beeps (DO RE MI) confirmation, indicating the ESC is startarting
work.
6.5 Slightly adjust the throttle trim to get the best Throttle Neutral denoted by a 2 beeps (DA
LA) confirmation.
7. Adjust & make sure the throttle forward direction coincides with the ESC forward direction. Lift
the car with the 4 wheels un-touching. Push the throttle trigger forwards to start motor running,
pull the throttle trigger backwards & hold it. If the system keeps braking, the throttle & ESC are
at the same forward directions. Otherwise, if the system only has a brief braking then the
motor reverses running, the throttle and ESC forward directions do not coincide with each
other. Change the throttle reversing switch of the transmitter will correct the non-coincidence
problem.
8. Enable or disable the reverse function
8.1 Switch on the transmitter and move the throttle stick to the max forward position
8.2. Turn on Receiver, 3 tones of “ Da Da Da “ will be heard
8.3. Move the throttle stick to the max reverse position and hold it, 1 tone of " Bi " will be
heard.
Repeat the above setting procedure will change the enable or disable status of the
Reverse function.
9. Motor rotating direction - Slowly apply throttle to check if the motor is rotating in the correct
direction you desired. To reverse the direction of the motor, switch any two of the motor wire
connections. Note : Do not reverse the battery wire connections! Reversing the battery
polarity will permanently damage the ESC.
10. Warning
- Once the battery pack is connected, handle the model with extreme care, make sure you are
clear of all rotating parts.
- Connect the battery pack just before drive and disconnect it immediately after termination.
- Always make sure you are connecting the ESC to a proper power source that has the correct
voltage & polarity. Incorrect voltages or reversed polarity will damage the ESC.
