Step 10.

You can confirm that these design units have been compiled into the library by pulling down

the

Library

menu and selecting

Contents

. This brings up a dialog box that displays the names

of all the design units in the library.

Step 11.

Scroll through the list of configurations and entities to see what has been compiled into the

work

library. Choose an entity and click on it, and all of its architectures will be shown in the

lower list box. When you are done, click

Done

to close the window.

Step 12.

Now start the simulator by pulling down the

File

menu and selecting

Simulate

(or use the

VSIM tool bar button). However you choose to invoke the simulator, the Simulate a Design

dialog box is displayed.
