theverbalannouncementsbyinputtingavalueof“1”backintoCV#62.Please
consultyourlocomotivesinstructionbooktoseewhichversion ofQSIyouhave.
ProgrammingOlderDecodersWithTheAdvanceOrExpressOlderMRCdecoders
suchastheAD305,AD310,AD315,anddecodersfoundinolderAthearnandWalthers
TrainlineLocomotivescannotaccepttheaddressprogrammingpacketssentallatonce
bythesenewhighlyefficientDCCsystems.ThesamecouldbetrueofsomeolderDigi
Trax,N.C.E.,andLenzdecoders.Alsotheseolderdecodersmightnotaccept4digit
addressesoranyspeedstephigherthan14speedsteps,[eraticoperationofthelightsor
runningcharacteristicsmightbeencounteredifyouprogramthemtoeither28or128
speedsteps].Thesedecodersmightnotbeabletobe“ProgrammedOnTheMain”,or
“ReadBack”onaProgramTrack.
