APPENDIX B – MAINTENANCE

REPLACING THE

FLOW

RESTRICTOR

See Figure S:

1. Turn off MILLDROP and remove the mains cable.

2. Turn off the tap feeding the water to MILLDROP, remove the lid and the board

protection panel.

3. Lift and take out the filter assembly (A) from the brackets

4. Take out the osmotic membrane cartridge (B) and remove the red tube Ø6 from the

“flow restrictor” union (C).

5. Unthread the flow restrictor and replace it with a new one (see Hydraulic diagram in

Appendix D).

NOTE

REASSEMBLE THE FLOW RESTRICTOR UNION, AND SEAL USING “LOCTITE

5331” .

6. Restore the red tube Ø6 on the union, reassemble the osmotic membrane cartridge

and the filter assembly.

7. Connect the mains cable and turn on MILLDROP.

8. Open the water feeding tap and check for no leaks.

9. Reassemble the board protection panel and the lid, fasten the screws.

DISPOSAL

INSTRUCTIONS

Milldrop equipment is mainly built from fiber-reinforced polymers, metals and electronic

components.

In case of disposal:

- Separate the various components according to the materials they are made of.

- Drop the equipment with a company specialized on recycling these products.

- Do not abandon the equipment in unsecured places.

- Always refer to current/applicable laws in the country of use.
