Osmotic membrane

See Figure Q

NOTE

AFTER REPLACING THE OSMOTIC MEMBRANE AND THE PURGING OF THE

HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT

, REPLACE ALSO THE ACTIVE CARBON FILTER.

1. Turn off MILLDROP and remove the mains cable.

2. Proceed as with the resin filters and remove the whole filter assembly (A) from its

bearings to access the osmotic membrane assembly (B).

3. Disconnect the pipes Ø8 (1) and (2) from the fittings and replace the osmotic

membrane.

4. Reconnect the pipes respecting the original position.

5. Replace the active carbon filter as described on the next page.

O DISCONNECT THE PIPES FROM THE FITTINGS, PULL OUTWARDS WHILE KEEPING

6. Modify the wire connection on the terminals board as described in the procedure for

the purging of the hydraulic circuit (see Fig. F), disconnect the pipe from the input

resin filter fitting (see Fig. G) and perform the purging for 10 minutes.

7. Check for no leak on the equipment.

8. Restore the hydraulic and the electric connections, and replace the cover.

9. Check the quality of output demineralized water (see table).
