3 ALERT NOTIFICATIONS VIA THE APP

3.1 Alarm Message

Thanks to their integrated sensors, MOBOTIX cameras can automatically detect when an event has occurred.

If necessary, the camera will respond immediately with an alarm sound (camera siren) and can trigger a visual

and acoustic alarm notiﬁcation on your mobile device. This requires the App to be open or running in the

background. The mobile device may be locked or in standby mode with the screen o.

All events that are to trigger an alarm and start recording ﬁrst need to be deﬁned on the cameras (for example,

via MxEasy, MxControlCenter or a browser).

You can specify in the MOBOTIX App if and for how long the video sources’ alarm message will be displayed on

the mobile device. For this, you need to open the Alarm button’s shortcut menu in the Live view of the selected

camera.

Notes

The settings for the alarm message, alarm sound and alarm duration apply to all video sources speciﬁed

for the App.

The alarm’s counter is increased by one (until it is reset) after every recorded event. Event recording and the

alert notiﬁcation that goes with it is only available when camera recording has been enabled (for example,

via MxEasy or a browser).
