3. Click the button. The Export dialog box will now open with
the time range you selected. Previously selected time ranges may appear and, if
necessary, can be removed manually (
BackSPace
or
delete
key).
4. Select the desired export format:
•
This option allows you to export the event sequences (fi les)
of the selected time range in the same format in which they are saved in the fi le
system. Unlike other options, this one does not convert the format and hence
requires the least amount of time to export. We recommend using this option
when you need to keep the fi les in their original format (for example, to preserve
evidence for law enforcement purposes).
• This option converts the event sequences of the selected time
range to MxPEG fi les. MxPEG fi les can now be played back in MxControlCenter.
Files in the MxPEG format also include the audio data recorded by the camera.
You can defi ne various options for exports, including a limit on fi le sizes, with
the button.
• This option allows you to export (convert) the event sequences of
the selected time range as an *.avi fi le (with or without audio). *.avi fi les can
be played using Windows Media Player or VLC (VideoLanClient–available for
Windows, Mac OS or Linux).
