can be sent when the alarm sensor of the MOBOTIX camera (or the
active connected CamIO or ExtIO) is triggered (see
Section 2.5.5, Setting Up Alarm Sensors
).
You can set up and activate alarm notifi cations using the pop-up menu of the time period
(right-click the time period). You can also set up the alarm notifi cations using the pop-up
menu of the corresponding button (right-click the button on the lower edge of the MxEasy
program window). Make sure to assign it an alarm notifi cation before activating the cor-
rect time window
You must then select at least one alarm sensor for the
corresponding time period (see
Section 2.5.5, Setting
Up Alarm Sensors
). The selected alarm notifi cations
are sent when the alarm sensor is triggered.
• Click this
button to activate playback of an audio fi le on
the speaker of the MOBOTIX camera (or an active
connected CamIO or ExtIO). Click the button a
second time to deactivate the feature.
This function can, for example, play a pre-recorded
audio fi le over the camera loudspeaker to inform a
suspicious person that he or she is being observed and recorded ("You are unauthor-
ized to enter this area! You are under video surveillance. Please leave the premises
immediately.").
• Click this button to activate the VoIP phone call notifi cation
from the MOBOTIX camera. Click the button a second time to deactivate the feature.
This function can be used to alert the security guard that there is an alarm situation
(for example, motion is detected in an o ce building at night). A message can be
transmitted via telephone ("Message from surveillance camera 15, o ce 32, 4th
fl oor: Motion has been detected in this room.").
