2.3 MountingtheCamerawithWallMount
The M16 is an allround camera designed for use in indoor and outdoor applications. The
camera must always be installed with the VarioFlex mount, which has been prepared at
the factory for wall mounting and allows the cabling to be concealed. The best camera
position for the selected lens must be found before installing the camera on the wall (see
Section 2.1.1, «Installation Options: Wall, Ceiling, Pole» and Section 2.1.2, «Installing the
CamerawithHemisphericSensorModules»).Youcanne-tuneitspositiononcethecamera
has been installed on the wall.
2.3.1 VarioFlexWallMount
Using the VarioFlex wall mount, the camera can be precisely panned, both horizontallyand
vertically, to suit the area that is to be monitored.
When installed on a wall, the camera can be turned or tilted as follows:
• horizontally: 180°
• vertically: 80°
