60/76 MOBOTIX ExtIO User Manual 3.1.5 Starting the ExtIO Using the Factory Default Settings Under certain circumstances, you may have to reset the ExtIO to its factory default settings (e.g. if the IP address is unknown). Proceed as follows to start the device using its factory default settings: 1) If the ExtIO is powered on, disconnect the power supply by unplugging the USB and Ethernet cables. 2) Reconnect the power supply of the ExtIO by reconnecting the corresponding cable(s).

MOBOTIX ExtIO User Manual 3.3 Software Updates MOBOTIX provides free-of-charge software updates for the ExtIO on www.mobotix.com (Support > Software Downloads). These updates contain new features and – if required – bugfixes. This means that you can upgrade an early ExtIO (USB only) with Ethernet connectivity. To update the ExtIO software, load the new software into the MOBOTIX camera (Admin Menu > Update System Software). Note that you need a properly running and connected ExtIO for this to work.
