Game-Changing Technology
MxActivitySensor surpasses traditional motion detection for accurately detecting general human
and vehicular activity. This revolutionary technology is years ahead of all other video motion
detection (VMD) systems.
Decentralized Management
MxActivitySensor is managed by the camera. No central DVR required for the image analysis
and alarm handling. This represents huge savings in bandwidth and software/hardware costs.
MxActivitySensor is availabile in camera software version 4.1.6 and higher.
Single-Click Configuration
Enabling MxActivitySensor takes a single mouse click to self-configure and adapt to the scene,
so there is no need for a specialist to do the configuration. Left at the default settings, it is more
accurate than a complicated video motion detection setup.
Directional Alarming
Specific directions of movement (up/down/left/right) can be setup as relevant events that trigger an
alarm for recording, phone call, activate alarm etc. This way, it is possible to capture movements
going against the direction of trac on a one-way street, for example.
In this sequence, captured by a MOBOTIX camera during a storm, only the moving vehicle is registered, while
changes in the scene such as trees swaying, water on the lens and lightning flashes, are all ignored. This
world-first in-camera technology can reduce false alarms in cameras located outdoor of more than 90 %.
