Appendix 1: SIM Swapping and Configuration
If the installation requires a change of the cellular SIM and reconfiguration of the MDVR for the
new cellular network, use these procedures.
1) Use MDVR security key to unlock SIM
and HDD cover. Remove SIM and insert
new SIM as shown. Press fully in until it
clicks. Close cover and lock with MDVR
security key. MDVR will not start with
door unlocked.
2) When MDVR is powered up, point
remote at front of MDVR and press
Login button. Use down arrows to select
the password field. Enter 888888.
3) On Setup menu, use arrow keys to
highlight Peripherals icon. Press Return.
4) On Peripherals Setup menu, use arrow
keys to highlight Wireless Setup icon.
Press Return.
