7 Legacy Module Information
7.1 Legacy Module Overview
This section explains how to use legacy modules in new systems and how the newer version
modules may be used in existing ACU-1000 systems. Raytheon makes every reasonable effort
to keep all modules as fully backward and forward compatible as possible. However, as new
features and capabilities are added, and components (and entire logic families) become
obsolete, it is inevitable that some incompatibilities will result.
