Instructs the network how long to store and try to resend any messages that are not delivered successfully the

iii. Status Report
This menu is used to instruct the network to send a status report on all messages sent. This feature requires
network support.
iv. Storage
Provides information on the local phone storage being used for messages.
v. Send & Save
The option to keep a copy of all sent messages can be programmed using this menu selection.

Use this option to delete all messages
e. Options for Messages
When scrolling through messages, you can select the message by pressing the left soft key (select). After select-
ing the left soft key becomes (options). Selecting (options) provides the following possible actions for the selected
message:
i. Reply
ii. Edit
iii. Forward
iv. Delete
v. View number
vi. Call number
Select the right soft key (Menu) from the Home screen and use the up, down, left, and right navigation keys, high-
light Settings and press the Select soft key.
a. Tones
i. Ringer
Select Ringer to display a list of ring tones and set the volume to Low, Medium, High, or Silent.
ii. SMS Tone
Select Melody to display a list of ring tones and set the volume to Low, Medium, High, or Silent for SMS func-
tions.
iii. Alarm
Select Melody to display a list of ring tones and set the volume to Low, Medium, High, or Silent for Alarm func-
tions.
iv. Keypad Tones
Select Keypad Tones to enable Silent, Click, or DTMF for keypad presses.
