BMC MK III
SETUP MODE
SOFTWARE FLOWCHART
PRESET MENU: The BMC MK III has a total of 4 presets available. The
presets store all level and calibration settings for the BMC, along with preset
name, SUB level offset, bass-management IN / OUT and LFE GAIN / TRIM.
The main display will always display what PRESET is in current menu when
in USER MODE and when not in MUTE, REF or SOLO mode, as shown below
(in this case “BLUE SKY LFE +10”).
Whenever you are in the SETUP MODE editing settings such as LEVEL,
these settings are being applied to the current PRESET in memory. Within
the PRESET sub menus, you can change the name of the preset which is
currently loaded in memory (as shown on the bottom of page 8). To load
another preset use the up and down arrow buttons, on MENU section of the
remote scroll through the various presets. Within the PRESET menu and
when you get to the profile that is already loaded in memory, the display will
state that it is “LOADED” (shown below).
When you scroll through the other profiles, it will ask you if you want to
load the selected profile (show below). Press the “+” (R) button to load this
profile.
FACTORY DEFAULT SETTINGS: Below is a chart showing the factory
default setting for the BMC MK III. If you choose to load the factory preset
settings, these are also the settings that will be reloaded into memory.
To load the factory defaults, press the MENU key, until you see SETUP.
Navigate to the LOAD FACT PRESET menu item and press the + (R)
button. You will be asked to confirm this action, by again pressing the “+
(R) button.
IMPORTANT: In order to complete the process of reloading the factory
presets, you should now power cycle the BMC MK III I/O unit.
“REV GAIN POT” & “ADJUST GAIN POT”: In the SETUP menu you will find
“REV GAIN POT” and “ADJUST GAIN POT”. These items are for factory use
only and typically serve no useful purpose for end users.
