Cooling Flow
(A)
Verify the cooling ow
Adjusting Clamp is open. If ow
exists, go to Step A.
(B)
Remove the Cooling Transfer
Tube from the Blade Guard
inlet. Go to Step C.

Place Pump into a bucket of
water and check ow. If ow
exists, go to Step D.
(D)
Remove the Cooling Transfer
Tube and check for ow. If ow
exists, refer to water manual.

Remove the Blade Guard
Intake Fitting. Go to Step J.
(F)
Remove the Cooling Channel
cover screws.
(G)
Rod the Cooling Channels
and then recheck ow.
“Rodding” cooling channels is performed by inserting
a small wire rod through the cooling inlet on top of the
Blade Guard and directing the rod out through each of
the cooling ow tubes located on the underside o the
Blade Guard. The cooling channels should be “rodded”
until all ports are free of foreign debris.
