MITSUBISHIPROJECTIONTELEVISIONLIMITEDWARRANTY
MITSUBtSHIDIGITALELECTRONICSAMERICA,INC. ("MDEA")warrantsto the originalpurchaserof this televisionthat ifpurchasedfroman authorized
MITSUBISH{Audio/Video Dealer,shouldit provedefectiveby reasonof improperworkmanshipand/or material:
a. Parts. The lenticutar i.e. front picture screen and/or the DiamondShieldTM iswarrantedagainstdefectsin materialsand workmanshipfor a period of30 days.
All other partsarewarrantedfora periodof one year from the dateof theoriginal purchaseatretail. Wewill repairor replace,at our option,anydefective part
withoutcharge forthe part. Parts usedfor replacementmaybe replacedwiththose of like kindand quality and maybe new or remanufactured.Partsusedfor
replacementarewarrantedfor the remainderof the original warrantyperiod.
b. Labo_ For30 days afterthe original purchaseat retail,we wilt repairor replace,atour option,the lenticularscreen ifit provesdefective. For altotherparts,
wewill providethe labor fora warranty repairby anauthorizedMITSUBISHIservicecenterwithoutchargeforone year from the original dateor purchaseat
retail.
c. Notice. TOobtainwarranty service,you mustnotify an authorizedMITSUBISHIservicecenterofany defectwithinthe applicablewarrantytimeperiod.
1. TO OBTAINWARRANTYSERVICE:
a. Contact yournearestauthorizedMITSUBISHIservicecenterwhosenameand address canbe obtained fromyour MITSUBISHIdealeror by writingorcaiting
MDEAat the addressand telephone numberprovidedbelow.
b. Warrantyservicewill be provided inyour home or,ifrequired,at an authorizedserviceshop,providedthat yourtelevisionislocatedwithin thegeographic
territorycustomarilycoveredby anauthorizedMITSUBISHIservicecenter. If not,you musteither deliveryour televisiontoan authorizedservice locationat
yourown expense,orpay foranytravel and/or transportationcosts theservicecenter maycharge to and from your home. Actualservicelabor willbe provided
withoutcharge.
c. Proof of purchasedate froman authorizedMITSUBISHIdealerisrequiredwhen requestingwarrantyservice. Presentyour sales receiptor otherdocument
whichestablishes proof and dateof purchase. THERETURNOF THEOWNER REGISTRATIONCARDIS NOTA CONDITIONOF WARRANTYCOVERAGE.
However,pleasereturnthe Owner RegistrationCard sothat wecan contactyou shoulda questionof safetyarise whichcould affect you.
2. THIS WARRANTYDOESNOTCOVERdamageto DiamondShield,Lenticularscreenor Fresnellens, screenframe,cosmeticdamage orto anyotherproduct
wheresuch damageiscaused by unauthorizedmodification,alteration, repairsto or serviceof the productby anyoneotherthan an authorizedMITSUBISHI
servicecenter; physicalabuseto ormisuseof the product(includingany failureto carry out any maintenanceas describedin the Owner'sGuideor any product
damagedbyexcessivephysicalor electricalstress ; any productsthat havehad a serial numberor anypartthereof altered,defaced or removed;productuse in
any mannercontraryto the Owner's Guide includingunevenpicture tubeaging and imprintedimageson the viewingscreen ; freightdamage;or anydamage
caused byacts of Godor otherfactorsbeyond the reasonablecontrolof MDEA,such as powersurge damagecaused byelectrical systemor lightning. This
warrantyalso excludesservicecalls whereno defectin theproductcovered under this warrantyis found,servicecalls relatedto unsatisfactoryaudioor visual
receptionor signalunlesscauseda defect inthe productthat iscovered underthis warranty,all costs,expensesor any otherdamagesarising fromproduct
installation,or set-ups,any ed ustmentsof usercontrols includingconvergence,contrast,brightness,color,tint,fine tuning,sharpness, othered ustment
necessaryto preparethe unitfor displayoruse,connection withany externalaudio receiver,antenna,cable orsateI_itesystems,or serviceof products
purchasedor servicedoutsidethe U.S.A. Pleaseconsultthe operatinginstructionscontainedinthe Owner'sGuidefurnished withthe productfor information
regardingusercontrols.
3. ANY EXPRESSWARRANTYNOT PROVIDEDHEREIN,ANDANY REMEDYWHICH, BUT FORTHIS PROVISION,MIGHTARISE BYiMPLICATION
OROPERATIONOF LAW,iS HEREBYEXCLUDEDAND DISCLAIMED.THE iMPLiEDWARRANTIESOF MERCHANTABILITYAND FITNESSFOR ANY
PARTICULARPURPOSEARE EXPRESSLYLIMITEDTO A TERM OFONE YEAR.
4. UNDER NOCIRCUMSTANCESSHALLMDEABE LIABLETO PURCHASEROR ANYOTHERPERSONFORANY INCIDENTAL,SPECIALOR
CONSEQUENTIALDAMAGES,WHETHERARISINGOUT OF BREACHOF WARRANTY,BREACHOF CONTRACT,OROTHERWISE.
5. Somestates do not allow limitationsonhow longan impliedwarrartylasts,orthe exclusionor limitationofincidental,special orconsequentialdamages,so
theabove limitationsorexclusions maynotapply to you.
6. This warrantygivesyouspecific legaIrights,andyou mayalso haveother rightswhich varyfrom stateto state.
