Understanding the On-Screen Displays
To view this information, press the information button (INFO) on
the remote control.
Your TV provides an on-screen summary of the current settings for the TV or
cable channels, or channel and program information provided by TV GUIDE
Plus+. Some of the screen information shown below will not appear on ANT-
A if TV GUIDE Plus+ has been installed.
If the source of the main
picture is an antenna:
ANT-A 023 ESPN PIPA002
NTSC 4:3
Stereo SAP
SQV
10:23 am
Thursday
The first setting shows:
antenna (A)
channel number (23)
channel name (ESPN)
PIP input source (Antenna A,
Channel 002)
format: NTSC with a tradi-
tional 4:3 shape
stereo and SAP are available
channel programmed into
SuperQuickView '_'memory
current time
current day of the week
signal strength (for DTV)
If the source of the main
picture is an input:
Input 1 S-VIDEO PIPA002

This second setting shows:
the input name (Input-i)
S-video cable is connected
PIP input source is Antenna A,
Channel 23
current time
current day of the week
The on-screen displays will automatically disappear after about 5 seconds
