Inhibitor switch system
Probable cause
The cause is probably a malfunction of the inhibitor switch circuit, ignition switch
circuit or a defective A/T-ECU.
D Malfunction of the inhibitor switch
D Malfunction of the ignition switch
D Malfunction of connector
D Malfunction of the A/T-ECU
Inhibitor switch check (Refer to P.23-49.)

Replace

Check the voltage of the inhibitor switch
connector B-72.
D Disconnect th e connector and
measure at the harness side.
D Voltage between terminal No. 8 and
earth
OK:
Battery voltage

Check the following connectors:
C-49, C-83, C-131, C-134
