To play tracks from iPod or USB device 7-32
To play from a USB memory device
1 Press the [MODE] key, and touch [USB]

NOTE
• If a USB memory device is not connected, [USB/
iPod] or [iPod] is displayed.
If [USB] is not displayed, check the connection of the
USB memory device.
• The display screen may differ depending on the
device being connected.

1) Media type
Displays the fi le format during playback.
[MP3], [WMA], [AAC], [WAV]
2) Title
[USB] is displayed while a USB memory device is playing.
3) Track Number and Track Name
The number and name of the track currently being
played is displayed.
4) [ Home ]
Touch this button to move the cursor to the track
currently being played.
5) Cursor
Displays the item currently selected.
6) [ ]
Touch this button to display the Sub Menu.

Folder] and [ Folder ]
[ Folder] Selects the previous folder
[Folder ] Selects the next folder
8) Playlist Button
Changes to playlist mode.
9) [
Track] and [Track ]
[ Track] Use to select the previous track or
the start of the track currently being
played. Touch and hold to rewind. Play
resumes when the button is released.
[Track ] Use to select the next track. Touch
and hold to fast-forward. Play
resumes when the button is released.
10) Layer Operation Button
Touch this button to display the list of upper layer
folders.
11) Playback Mode
The currently selected playback mode is displayed.
12) Artist Name
The name of the artist whose track is currently
being played is displayed.
13) Album Name (Folder name)
The name of the album (name of the folder) for the
track currently being played is displayed.
14) [SCAN]
Each time [Scan] is touched, the playback mode changes.
SCAN Performs scan playback on all the tracks
in the folder currently being played.
FOLDER-
SCAN
Performs scan playback on the fi rst
track in all the folders on the USB
memory device.
(OFF) Cancels the scan playback.
15) [Repeat]
Each time [Repeat] is touched, the playback mode
changes.
REPEAT The track currently being played
plays repeatedly.
FOLDER-
REPEAT
All tracks in the folder currently being
played play repeatedly.
(OFF) Cancels the repeat playback.
16) [Database]
Displays the Gracenote version.
17) [Help]
Displays the VR Command List.
18) [Back]
Deletes the Sub Menu.
19) [Random]
Each time [Random] is touched, the playback mode changes.
RANDOM Performs random playback on all the
tracks in the folder currently being played.
ALL-RANDOM Performs random playback on all the
tracks on the USB memory device.
(OFF) Cancels the random playback.
20) Playback Time
The playback time for the track currently being
played is displayed.
