Connections with peripheral equipment
Peripheral equipment is connected to MR-J2S-B as described below.
Connectors, cables, options, and other necessary equipment are available so that users can set up MR-J2S-B easily and begin using
it right away. Through its SSCNET-compatible one-touch connections, MR-J2S-B series reduce the number of wires and the chances
of wiring errors.

Regeneration unit (option)
Install this unit in situations involving
frequent regeneration and large load
inertia. Connect this unit referring to
“Standard Wiring Diagram”.
CN3 for RS-232C communication (option)
Connects the unit to user’s personal
computer, enabling user to monitor con-
ditions, display graphs, and perform
test operation. MR Configurator
(setup software) and dedicated cable
are available also.
Illuminates when the main-circuit-
power-supply is on. Do not plug/
unplug power lines when this lamp is
on.
Connects the next axis servo-amp or
terminal connector (MR-A-TM).
CN1B for connecting SSCNET (Next)
Connects the controller for the SSCNET
or the previous axis servo-amp.

Note: Refer to page 34 for the connection with the peripheral device with the MR-J2S-350B or smaller.
Connect the MR-J2S-500B or larger and the MR-J2S-11KB4 (400V type) or larger as shown in the standard connection diagram.
