BASICS
Connections with peripheral equipment
The figure below shows the linking of a
motion controller system. The motion
controllers of the series MELSEC A and
MELSEC System Q as well as the servo
amplifiers are linked via the high-speed
network SSCNET.
The SSCNET network delivers high relia-
bility and less wiring. SSCNET series sys
-
tems brings you the best in easy-to-use
motion control applications.

controllers of the series MELSEC A and
MELSEC System Q.
CN1B for connecting SSCNET (next)
Connects the next axis servo-amp or terminal connec

tor (MR-A-TM)
CN1A for connecting SSCNET (previous)
CN3 for RS-232 communication (option)
CN3 for RS-232C communication (option)
Connects the unit to the user's personal computer,
enabling the user to monitor conditions, display
graphs, and perform test operation. Setup software
and dedicated cable are available too.
Battery compartment (option)
A battery (MR-BAT) is installed in the holder when
using as an absolute system.

Regeneration unit (option)
Install this unit in situations involving frequent
regeneration and large load inertia. Disconnect P
and D when using this optional unit.
Charge lamp
Illuminates when the main circuit power supply is on.
Do not plug or unplug the power lines when this lamp
is on.
