Motor-less operation
Without connecting the servo motor, you can provide output signals
or
monitor the status display as if the
servo motor
is
running in response
to
external input signals.
Ths
operation can be used to check the
sequence
of
a host programmable controller
or
the &e.

Operation
After
turning
off
the signal across
SON-SG,
choose motor-less operation.
After
that, perform external
operation as
in
ordmary operation.

Status
display
You can confirm the servo status during motor-less operation.
Pressing the "MODE" button
in
the motor-less operation-ready status calls the status &splay screen.
With
ths
screen being shown, perform motor-less operation. Every time you press the "MODE" button,
the next
status
&splay screen appears, and
on
completion
of
a
screen cycle, pressing that button
returns
to
the motor-less operation-ready status screen. For
full
information
of
the status display, refer
to
Section
6.2.
In the test operation mode, you cannot use the "UP" and
"DOWN"
buttons to change the
status
&splay screen from one to another.

Termination
of
motor-less operation
To
terminate the motor-less operation, switch power
off.
