6.8.3 Positioning operation
POINT
1
The Servo Configuration software
is
required
to
perform positioning
operation.
Positioning operation can be performed once when there
is
no command from the external command
device.

Operation
supply.
Connect
EMG-SG
to
start
positioning operation and connect VDD-COM
to
use the internal power
Pressing the "Forward"
or
"Reverse" button on the Servo Configuration software
starts
the servo motor,
whch
wlll
then stop after moving the preset travel distance.
You
can change the operation conhtions
on the Servo Configuration software. The
initial
conhtions and setting ranges for operation are listed
below:

How
to use the keys
is
explained below:
Key
Description
"Forward"
Press
to
start positioning operation
CW.
"Reverse"
Press to start positioning operation
CCW.
Press during operation to make a temporary
stop.
Pressing
the "Pause" button again erases the rematning distance.
To resume operation. press the button that was pressed to
start the operation.
"Pause"
If
the communication cable
is
disconnected during positioning operation, the servo motor
wdl
come to a
sudden stop.

You
can monitor the status display even during positioning operation.
