Auto speed programming is only available in the first
programming slot. In this first slot, the recording speed is set to
AUTO automatically. If you want to use auto speed programming
in this programming slot, you don't need 1_ochange anything.
Make sure that the "Tape" video function matches the kind of
tape you are using. (See "Selecting and adjt_sting the audio and
video functions" on page 27.)

If you want to start the recording at 11:00 FM and end it at 2:00
AM the next day, simply set the start time to 11:00 PM on the
recording start day .and the end time to 2:0C,AM. There is no need
to change the day of' the week.
skippingprograms
If you have ah-eady entered a program into :your VCR's memory,
you can skip the program without going into the VCR's menns.
Simply press the POWER button on the 5"ont panel once. The
programmed recording light (E]) will turn off, and the program
will be skipped. If you decide not to skip t:he program, press r,he
POWER button on the front panel twice; the programmed
recording light will light up again.

If you want to change the programmed recording setting,_:
0 Turn the VCR on with the POWER butt3n.
Press the MEN[; button on the remote control.
@) Turn the ADJUST dial to select "Prog_ram to record." Turn the
shuttle ring right. You'll see the "recap" screen.
O Turn the ADJUST dial to place the cursor next to the
program you wish to change. Turn the shuttle ring right. You
will see the "Program to record." menu.

Use the MENU button to turn off the menus. Then, use the
POWER button to turn off the VCR. Miake sure the
programmed recording light is on.
