Use the ADJUST dial to select whether you want to record
your program once, daily, or weekly.
If you choose "Once," your VCR will only record the show
once.
Ifyou choose"Daily,"your VCR willrecordthe same
channel at the same time, Monday through Friday.
If you choose "Weekly," your VCR wi [1record the same
channel at the same time, on the same day, each week.
After you have made your choice, turn the _,;huttle ring right.
If two programmed recording times overlap, the message, '%rCR is
already programmed for that time" will display on the screen. You
will need to erase the previous program before you can enter the
new one. If the code number you entered is wrong, the message,
"VCR PlusCode, Not a valid ,code" will display on the screen.
The program you have chosen to record will appear in the
"recap" format, and will flash for three :_econds.

If you wish to change the record speed, turn the shuttle ring
right until the record speed is flashing. Change the recording
speed by turning the ADJUST dial. When finished, turn the
shuttle ring right once more.

To program additional recording times, select an empty
program line by turning the ADJUST dial. Then, turn the
shuttle ring right. You will return to th,_ VCR Plus+ "Program
to record" screen. Continue the VCR ]Plus+ programming
procedure from step _.

When you are finished with all programming, turn tlhe VCR
power OFF and make sure the programmed recording light
(_) is lit. Howc_ver, if you have a cable box, leave it turned
ON. Additionally, if the HS-U560, does not control your cable
box, leave the box tuned to the station you wish to record.
UsingQuickProgram
Quick Program is an exclusive Mitsubishi i%ature that s!implifies
the process of programming your VCR to record. When you press
the QUICK PROGRAM/VCR Plus+ button on the remote control,
you will immediately see the "Program to record" menu and can
begin programming right away.
You can even use this feature when the VCR is stopped, playing,
recording, fast forwarding, rewinding, or off: The QUICK
PROGRAM/VCR Plus+ button does not function during One Key
Programming.
Quick Program is a]so an "Active A!V Network" feature. If you

more information.
