changingsettingswhileprogramming
If you wish to change one of your settings (,;uch as start time)
while you are programming, turn the shuttle ring on the remote
left or right to select the setting you wish to change. Turning the
ring right will move you forward through tile list, while turning
the ring left will move you backwards. Then, _se the ADJUST
dial to change the setting.
If you turn the shuttle ring left while the cur_or is next to the
channel number, you will cancel the. entire program.
Programmingwith VCR Plus+
VCR Plus+ allows you to program your VCR m record by simply
entering the VCR PhLs+ number. You can find this number in TV
Guide or (possibly) your local TV listings.
Beforeyoubegin,
you need to know how to view the picture coming from your
VCR; (see page 23)
you must have set the clock; (see page 29) and
you must have set your VCR Plus+ Channel Guides. (See
page 36.)
O Load a tape that has not had its erasure tab removed into the
VCR.
If you have not yet recorded on this tape, then the VCR will
test the tape with the PerfecTape feature. For more
information on this feature, please see page 53.
O Press the MENU button on the remote: control. The 'SrCR
Main Menu" appears on your screen. Use the ADJUST dial on
the remote control to move the cursor ne_t to "Program to
record." Turn the shuttle ring right.
If there is already a programmed recording, you will see the
"recap" screen. You can choose an empty' recording slot, or
wait four seconds and the VCR will automatically chc.ose the
first empty slot.

You will see the VCR Plus+ "Program to record" screen. Use
the number buttons on the remote control to enter the
PlusCode number for the television show you want to record.
For example, if the PlusCode number for the prograrr, you
want to record L,;5678, simply enter "5678".

If you enter a number incorrectly, turn the shuttle ring left or
press the CANCEL button on the remote control. When you
have finished entering the PlusCode number, turn the shuttle
ring right.
