6. HOW TO COMMUNICATE WITH ID TAGS
6.3 Control Methods According to Communication Specification
6.3.1 Trigger
With the trigger communication specification, communication is performed with the ID
tag stopped within the antenna communication area.
1. When the ID command execution request (RYn4) is turned ON, ID-BUSY (Rxn3) is
turned ON and communication with the ID tag is started.
2. After communication with the ID tag ends, ID command complete (RXn4) turns ON.
3. When the ID command execution request (RYn4) is turned OFF, ID-BUSY (RXn3) and
ID command complete (RXn4) turns OFF and the module changes to a standby state.
4. If an ID tag does not exist within the communication area of the antenna the moment
the ID command execution request (RYn4) is turned ON, bit 10 of the error details
storage area (RWrm+1H) turns ON and error detection (RXn5) turns ON.
With the trigger communication specification, communication cannot be performed
normally, bit 12 of the error details storage area (RWrm+1H) turns ON, and error
detection (RXn5) turns ON when multiple ID tags are within the antenna communication
area. Thus, make sure there is only one ID tag within the antenna communication area.
