5.5. What you can do during the live monitoring operation

The following functions can make live monitoring more effective when used during the live

monitoring operation.

5.5.1 Listening to live sound

In some latest models such as DX-TL4516E, you can listen to live sound through the network

function.

On the SingleView screen, select the desired sound channel from the dropdown menu at the

lower right of the image displaying area. The slide bar in the dropdown menu serves to

determine buffer volume of the sound data. The shorter the set level is, the smaller the

deviation between the image and sound becomes. However, excellent network environment

and low-load recorder condition are always required. Adjust this according to your operating

environment.

On the MultiView screen, these controls are included in the Camera Window panel. By

deploying to the right, the same sound control is provided in the 3

panel.
