“Number of steps in search”:
Use the dropdown menu box in this area to change the base number of images for search
operation. When you search the regenerated recorder images in the fast-forward or
fast-return mode, clicking the Fast Forward or Fast Return button will skip the images by the
specified base number of images. Clicking the button again will skip the images by the “base
number of images × 2”. Clicking the button once more will skip the images by the “base
number of images × 4”. Clicking the button once more will skip the images by the “base
number of images × 8”. After that, multiplication of the base number of images will be reset to
× 1”.
The base number of images can be freely set in the range of 1 through 512. However, note
that the base number of images may be restricted depending on the recorder type.
“Live Auto Pre-connect”:
Use the dropdown menu box in this area to specify the number of retry times for connecting
recorders. If the DX-PC200 is not connected to a recorder for some reasons during obtainment
of live images, connection to the recorder will be retried for the number of retry times specified in
this box to obtain the live images.
Notice
If a high load is applied to the network, a lot of resources may be needed for communication.
In this case, the recorder may stop the communication in order to protect the own functions,
such as recording. If this problem occurs frequently in the network, repeated retry of
automatic connection may cause abnormal operation of the recorder. For this reason, do not
use this function unless absolutely necessary.
