Setting the timer
_'Important:
This special feature allows you to program the TV to turn on
automatically at a preset tirae. To set the timer:

O First Time Set-Up
Customize Viewing
II_ Advanced Features
Use ADJUST to select.
Then press ENTER.
Press MENU to exit menus.
O Press the MENU button on the
remote control. The TV Main
Menu will appear on the screen.
O Select "Advanced Features"
using the ADJUST buttons;
press ENTER.

• Set the timer
Use parental lock
Use Super Quick View
Use Advanced PIP
Use ADJUST to select.
Then press ENTER.
Press MENU to return to
TV Main Menu.
Set the timer
• Day --
Start time - -
Channel - -
Use ADJUST to select.
Then oress ENTER.
Press MENU to return to
Advanced Features Menu.
You will see the "Advanced
Features" screen. Select "Set
the timer" using tile ADJUST
buttons; press ENTER.
0 Use Lhe ADJUST buttons and
the ENTER button to set Day,
Start time, and Channel.
Af_e:r setting the Limer, make sure
that the program timer indicator
is lit. The indicator will light in
orange when the TV is turned on
and light in red when the TV is
turned off. The indicator will light
up in g:L'een when using the
menus, or when you ihave locked
the [W.
If you press the C,ANCEL button
while setting the timer, the cursor
will move to the previous item. To
clear the timer, press the CAN-
CEL button with the cursor at the
"Day" position.
When the timer turns the _7 on, the display will flash as a warn-
ing. If you do not press any TV function buttons for about 5 rain-
utes, the TV will automatically turn off. Press a TV function button
(such as the display button) to keel) the TV on and turn off the
flashing display.
