Setting the clock
TV GUIDE Plus+ users may skip this section. TV GUIDE
Plus + will automatically set the clock. See the TV GUIDE
Plus+ Operating Guide.
Your 'IV contains an internal clock. If there is a broadcaster in
your area that is sending the current time along with its regular
broadcast signal, then your TV can automatically set its clock with
this signal. Otherwise, you can set the clock yt:,urself.

O Press the MENU button on the
remote control. The Main
Menu will appear on the
screen.
O Use the ADJUST buttons to
select "First Time Setup."
Press ENTER/EXCH.
You will see the "First Time
Setup" screen. Use the
ADJUST buttons to select "Set
the Clock." Press ENTER/
EXCH.
0 If you want your TV to set the
clock automatically, use the
ADJUST buttons to set "Auto
clock" to "On'. Press ENTER/
EXCH.
OIfyou want to set the clock
yourself, set "Auto clock" to
"Off' and fi:,llow the steps
outlined in Setting the Clock
Yourself later in this chapter.

Use the AI:,JUST buttons to
select the t:ime zone you live in.
The available time zones are:
Central, Mountain, Pacific,
Alaska, Hawaii, Atlantic and
Eastern.
