Naming the input This feature allows you to name the inpuLs so that you can keep track of components you have connected to your TV. For example, you might name one input "VCR," and arother one "DISC." After naming, the new name will appear on the screen display. The original 1," "Input-2" names are: "Input" (other models).

Using the parental lock This special feature allows you to lock the entire TV during a certain time period or lock up to ten individual channels. If you try to turn on a locked TV, view a locked channe|, or the locking "time period" begins, you will see a message asking you to enter the secret code.

XDS allows broadcasters to supply you with the current time, channel information (such as call letters and the network name), and program information (such as the program name and program description). To view this information, press the information button (INFO) on the remote control.
A CHAPTER Using the FOUR Special Features In addition to the basic and advanced features explained in the previous chapter, this TV offers several special features not generally available on other brand TVs. You can set the TV to turn off after a period of time ranging from 10 to 120 minutes, in ten minute intervals.
