Attach the adaptor plate

and the crankshaft adaptor

the drive plate assembly, facing in the directions

shown.

RING GEAR INSTALLATION
(1) Heat the ring gear

with an acetylene torch or any other
suitable heat source for 3 minutes. (Approx. 100°C)
Caution
Use care not to be burned.
(2) Fit the ring gear
4
onto the drive plate

with the
non-chamfered teeth side toward the drive plate.

INSPECTION
RING GEAR
Check the ring gear
4
for damage and abnormal wear. Replace
the ring gear
4
if necessary.
