CONNECTING ROD BOLT INSTALLATION
(1) Check that the bolt hole

in the connecting rod

free of damage, burrs, etc.
(2) Apply a thin coat of engine oil to the knurled portion

of the connecting bolt

. Then, fit it in the connecting
rod with the notch

in the head inward under a press
ram load of less than 4,903 N.
