Apply an even bead of sealant to the entire joint surface
of the timing gear case

as shown. Bead diameter: 3.5
mm.
Specified sealant:
Mitsubishi Genuine Part No. MD970389 or equivalent
Caution
Squeeze out the sealant uniformly without excess and
discontinuity.
