(a) A corrugated board (for preventing sputtering) is attached to the main body of the air conditioner (on the outlet port). Do not
remove it until connecting the duct.
1) An air filter is provided on the main body of the air conditioner (on the inlet port). Remove it when connecting the duct
on the inlet port.
(b) Blowout duct
1) Reduce the length of duct as much as possible.
2) Reduce the number of bends as much as possible.
3) (Corner R should be as larger as possible.)
4) Conduct the duct installation work before finishing the ceiling.
(c) Inlet port
1) When shipped, the inlet port lies on the back.
2) When connecting the duct to the inlet port, remove the air filter
fitted to the inlet port.
3) When placing the inlet port to carry out suction from the bottom
side, use the following procedure to replace the suction duct joint
and the bottom plate.
(d) Make sure to insulate the duct to prevent dewing on it.
(e) Location and form of blow outlet should be selected so that air from
the outlet will be distributed all over the room, and equipped with a
device to control air volume.
(f) Make sure provide an inspection hole on the ceiling. It is indispens-
able to service electric equipment, motor, functional components and
cleaning of heat exchanger.
