4.5 Connecting to the Network

The following explains how to connect the Ethernet module to the 10BASE-T/

100BASE-TX network.

(Step 1) Connect the twisted-pair cable to the hub.

If the connection is made on a one-to-one basis, connect to the connector

of the external device.

(Step 2) Connect the twisted-pair cable to the Ethernet module as shown below.

The Ethernet module discriminates between 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX

according to the hub (external device).
