OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. To select the sound source by sliding the function selector on the side of the unit to FM
RADIO, OFF and CD(AUX) mode.
2. To switch the unit off by sliding the function selector to off position.
3. Adjust the main volume level by turning the volume knob.
1. THE RADIO OPERATION
Basic
operation
1. Connect the supplied AC power cord or batteries.
2. Slide the FUNCTION switch on the unit to select RADIO mode. The power indicator
will light up.

Slide the FM mono/stereo switch to the desired position.
4. Tune the tuning knob to the station you want by turning the TUNING control.
5.
Adjust the volume level by operating the volume control.
6.
Slide the FUNCTION control to OFF position to turn off the unit, the LCD display will
switch off automatically.
ANTENNA OF THE UNIT
Set FM Mono/Stereo selector to FM ST. mode for FM STEREO reception. The stereo
indicator will light up to show the radio in FM ST. mode. To improve radio reception:
FM: Extend the FM ANTENNA completely to obtain the best FM station reception.
2. THE CD OPERATION
This player plays audio discs including CD-Recordable (CD-R) and CD-Rewritable
(CD-RW). But the disc for the CD-OR, CD-I, CDV, VCD, DVD or computer
CDs is not possible for playback.
Note: Dirty or scratched CD may cause a skipping problem, clean or replace the CD. If an
error display or malfunction occurs, turn the unit off, disconnect the AC power cord and
remove all the batteries.
Handling CDs
To remove a disc from its storage case, press down on the centre of the case and lift the disc
out, holding it carefully by the edges.
Fingerprints and dust should be carefully wiped off the disc’s recorded surface with a soft
cloth before use. The lens of the CD player should never be touched.
DON’T FORGET!
Never use chemicals such as record sprays, antistatic sprays, benzene, or
thinners to clean compact discs. These chemicals can damage the discs surface.
