PREPARATION FOR USE
Thank you for purchasing CD player. Please read this manual carefully before
operating and reserve it for future reference. It will be helpful to you if you encounter
any operational problem.
1. STANDARD ACCESSORIES
Carefully remove all the accessories from the display carton. Please verify that you have all
the following accessories before you dispose of the carton. Do not remove any labels or
stickers on the back panels of the main unit. Place your unit on a level surface such as a table,
desk or shelf.

2. CONNECTING POWER SOURCE
This unit was designed to operate with an AC ~230V 50Hz power
supply. Connecting this system to any other power source may
cause damage to the system. Unwind the AC power cord; insert the
power connector to the AC in socket on the rear of the unit, then
connect the AC plug into the socket outlet. The set is now
connected and ready to use.
To switch the unit off completely, withdraw the power cord from the
wall outlet.
1. Do not plug or unplug the power cable in wet hands.
2. Please disconnect the mains plug from the AC outlet if the appliance is not going to be
used for a long period of time.
Battery operation (batteries are not supplied)
Disconnect the AC Cord Set completely from wall outlet and the set before inserting batteries.
Open the battery cover on the base of the unit and insert 6 "C" size batteries into the battery
compartment with the correct polarity as indicated by the “+” and ”-” symbols inside the
battery compartment. Replace the battery cover, making sure the batteries are firmly and
correctly in place.
The set is now ready to operate.
NOTE:
Remove the batteries if they are exhausted.
When the set is only used with an “AC” supply, or it is not used for a long period of time;
please remove the batteries so as to avoid damaging the set from battery leakage.
BATTERY SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
1. Use only the size and type of battery specified.
2. Ensure that the battery is inserted according to the polarity markings on the battery
compartment. If the battery is inserted the wrong way it may damage the device.
3. If the device is not going to be used for a long period of time, remove the battery from the
control to prevent damage or injury from possible battery leakage.
4. Do not use old and new of different types of batteries in combination.
