CARE OF THE APPLIANCE
To prevent fire or shock hazard your unit from the AC power source, Disconnect the appliance
from the power source when cleaning.
If the unit becomes dusty, wipe it with a soft and dry cloth to clean this appliance. Do not use
any wax, polish sprays, or abrasive cleaners on the unit.
CAUTION
Never allow any water or other liquids to get inside the unit while cleaning. Dispose of used
batteries in an environmental-responsible manner. This product is not intended for
commercial use. Household use only.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
Problem Possible cause What to do
Radio
Noise or sound is
distorted in FM
Station is not tuned properly for FM
FM: the FM antenna is not
extended.
Fine tune FM broadcast station
Extend FM antenna
No sound in FM
Mode
The unit is not in radio mode
Volume is at the minimum position
Slide the FUNCTION switch to
select FM Radio mode.
Adjust volume level
FM STEREO
indicator does
not light
FM signal is not strong enough or
the station is not in stereo
broadcasting.
Extend FM antenna to find another
FM stereo station.
CD Player
CD Player will
not play
Unit is not in CD mode
“No” appears in the display even
when a disc is laded
CD is not installed or installed

Select CD mode
Insert the CD with the label side up
Load a CD and check it is the
correct way round.
Try another compact disc, this
player will not play WMA discs.
“1” appears in the display instead of
the total track number in stop mode
CD skips while

another disc
