Questions about External Calls

Can I forward my calls to an external number?

Yes, if this option is enabled in your Class of

Service, you can. Program your set to forward calls

to a number which is already programmed into one

.of your Speed Call keys, or as an Abbreviated Dial

Number (see Call Forward and Speed Call Keys).

Sometimes when I dial the External Line Access Code I

hear busy tone. Why?

If you hear busy tone, the external trunk/line is

busy. You can use the Callback feature to obtain an

external line, if the Automatic Route Selection

(ARS) feature is NOT enabled on the system. If this

is the case:

0 Dial the External Line Access Code

You hear busy tone.

Press Callback

to set up a callback on the trunk.
