LINE STATUS DISPLAY
Line Appearances
When someone else’s line is assigned to or
appears on your set, it
is called a “line
appearance”. For example, if your colleague Jim’s
line is programmed on one of your line select keys,
his line is said to “appear’ at your set.
When someone calls Jim, a symbol will flash on
your line status display, next to the line select key
corresponding to his line on your set. When Jim is
using his line, another symbol appears on your line
status display. The symbols that appear in the line
status display are illustrated below.

Idle
Called (Incoming call)
BUSV
Busy at another

On Hold
