Data Communication USB Connection
Please follow the instructions given
by the application to update the
firmware.
Once the program has obtained the
configuration information, your tele-
phone is switched off.
Now turn the device back on by
holding the
F key and at the same
time, pressing the
R key. Now the
firmware will be updated.
Data Communication
General information
Your OpenPhone 27 enables data
communication via ISDN. In order to
do this, you must first install the
software supplied on the accompa-
nying CD on your PC.
In order to do this, you must first
register your OpenPhone 27 as
“OpenPhone 27/28 + Data”. You can
obtain further information via the
Online-help of OpenCom Configura-
tion program.
You can then surf the Internet, send
and receive e-mails and access the
OpenCom LAN.

tions of the companies named are
protected by copyright or patent.
System prerequisites
The system prerequisites for the in-
stallation of the PC software are as
follows:
■ IBM or fully compatible compu-
ter
■ Pentium 133 MHz or higher
■ At least 16 MB of RAM
■ Microsoft Windows 98/Me/2000
or XP
■ One free USB port
■ CD-ROM drive
