Edit Entry: You can edit the
name and display of the tele-
phone number (usually the in-
ternal/local telephone number)
for the selected subscription
record. This information ap-
pears in the idle state when the
handset is registered on the cor-
responding base station.
Note: With the OpenCom 100, you
do not need to enter an internal
phone number for the handset since
the communications system man-
ages internal numbers automati-
cally.
Delete Entry: Here you delete
the subscription record of the
base station in your handset.
The handset can only be oper-
ated on this system when it has
been checked in again. When
the last entry in this list has been
deleted, the handset automati-
cally begins to search for a new
base station to subscribe to.

Menu
You have selected the menu en-
try Subscription. Now select
one of the following options:
At least one subscription avail-
able: You see a list of base sta-
tion names to which the hand-
set has subscribed and
additionally the Auto. Search
entry. Select the one of the en-
tries and press
Options
. You
can now make the further below
described settings for this entry.
No subscription available: You
see the note No Subscription.
Press
New
to add a subscription.
Select (having selected Auto.
Search): If you have checked the
handset into multiple base sta-
tions, then the handset will (in
the idle state) automatically se-
lect a reachable base station.
Your handset will automatically
be “registered” at another base
station as soon as it is no longer
in range of the current base sta-
tion.
Select (having selected a dif-
ferent subscription entry): If you
have registered the handset at
multiple base stations, then you
can select which subscription
your handset should use.
New: You subscribe the hand-
set (PP = Portable Part) to the
base station (FP = Fixed Part).
Possibly you will need the PARK
of the base station. If you wish
to check in the handset using
the secured procedure, you will
need the FP PIN of the base
station (also referred to as AC =
Authentication Code). If you are
using the simplified procedure,
leave this field blank. For more
