Introduction
The Mitel 5000 current release and earlier versions of software incorporate portions of open
source projects covered by various license agreements. In compliance with these agreements,
copies of licenses for the open source software titles have been reproduced in this section.
List of Licenses
The following source code was modified and incorporated in software developed for the Mitel
5000 Network Communications Solutions:
• GNU General Public License: Used by the following software (see page C-4 for details).
o BusyBox: A modified version of this software is provided on the Mitel CS-5600
Processing Server (PS-1) Installation/Recovery CD.
o Linux Kernel: The operating system modified for use on the Mitel CS-5200 and CS-
5400 Communication Servers and the CS-5600 Base Server and Processing Server
(PS-1).
o Network UPS Tools (NUT): Copyright (C) 1999 Russell Kroll <rkroll@exploits.org>.
