7. Create Off-Node IP Connections (for each node that will network to the other).
a. Under the Devices and Feature Codes/IP Connections/<Off Node IP Connection
Group number> folder, right-click in the empty area and select Create Off-Node IP
Connection.
b. Enter a starting extension and number of extensions
for the node to which you are networking. Click OK.
c. Double-click the extension you provided in step 7b.
d. Double-click the Remote IP Address value. Enter
the IP address of the node to which you are
networking.
e. Repeat step 7 on the other node networking to this node.
8. On the nodes networked to each other, validate that the nodes are networked. It may
take up to 15–20 minutes for all networked connections to take place.

Operations –
Import/Export
Devices and
attempt to
import or export
the endpoints to
or from one of
the nodes.
Errors could
indicate the
systems are not
communicating or some settings are not correct. Check the configuration.
b. Establish a call between nodes. Simply dial the extension number. If dialing the
extension number does not work, dial the node number then dial the extension
number.
c. Click Exit or import/export other devices between the networked systems.
